In 1870, the entrepreneur and farmer John Chamberlain, built a barn. But not just any barn.

It has changed hands a few times since then but the rare cruciform barn remains as steadfast and magnificent as ever.  

A registered Heritage building, it is the centerpiece of Lake House Lavender. Now we are getting ready for a rebirth of the barn as a celebration space for weddings, reunions and cloud gazing.  And of course, all things lavender.
